Danyaal Raza is an Ottawa-based family physician. He serves on the Board of Directors of Canadian Doctors for Medicare and on the Poverty & Health Committee of the Ontario College of Family Physicians. He has testified as an expert witness to the House of Common's Standing Committee on Health and Standing Committee on Finance. Dan writes on issues at the intersection of health care, public policy and the social determinants of health. He completed a family medicine fellowship in Global Health at the University of Toronto, residency at Queen's University and graduated medical school at Western University.
