    The new guidelines say a low dose of baby aspirin daily is no longer advocated for the prevention of a stroke or heart attack in the elderly with no existing heart disease. However, patients having heart-related issues like heart attack, open-heart surgery or angioplasty, should continue the dosage.
    Doctors advised is recommended before starting or stopping the dosage.

    I am 88 and take EFAMOL every day 3000mg omega 6 +1000 mg fish-oil omega 3 not any medication and have a job as school-crossing-guard to many negatief reports on asprin

    The term “baby aspirin,” even when in quotes, seems to minimize the potential risk that this medication has. “After all, how harmful can it be if it’s for a baby?” The term “low dose,” or referring to the actual number of milligrams (80 or 81) is more accurate.
