Sheryl Spithoff, Joel Lexchin & Carol Kitai

Sheryl Spithoff is a family physician and addiction medicine physician at Women’s College Hospital and a lecturer at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include the primary care management of addictions, access to care, and health policy. Carol Kitai is a family physician who practices at Women’s College Hospital where she is the medical director of the Family Practice Health Centre. She also works for Inner City Health Associates ( St Michael’s Hospital) at a downtown women’s shelter. Joel Lexchin teaches health policy at York University and works as an emergency physician at the University Health Network. He has been researching, writing and speaking about pharmaceutical policy issues for over 35 years.
