Online ?? why – the science says those under 20, 25, 30 are the LEAST affected by covid. Zero published studies show transmission of virus from grade school students to teachers. There is greater chance as a grade school student of dying from a car accident on the way to school than from covid. Time to stop the mamby-pamby hyperbolic approach to this virus. Hospitals are not overwhelmed (one could say more underwhelmed).

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. It seems we don’t yet know all we need to about this virus and what may follow. The precautionary principle applies.

I am currently translating an in-person teaching experience into an online course. Ms. Parker described many reasonable concerns that will affect many if not most or even all of my students.
