Do I have the right to see another cateract surgeon without retribution from another doctor that I can’t get into see for another 4 months.
I have a fast growing cateract in my left eye, meaning it was not there in 2015 and is now. I have heard of a doctor approx 100 miles away that will see me in March and operate in April due to a grant from the government. I have some issues as allergic to anesthetic and I have a metal plate under my eye. I need advice. I was told if I continue to see other doctor I will be refused by local one

Can a patient from Ontario get a second opinion in the USA? Say at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan?

    • Ramona says:

You certainly can go to any specialist in the US but you have to pay out of your own pocket for the consultation.
