I am afraid this will become another enormous bureaucracy that will have no real power to help patients. Most patient issues reside at the doctor level and they will continue to be dealt with by the college. In most cases the college comes down on the side of the doctor so the patient seldom has any power in getting a fair resolution when conflicts occur. I speak from experience unfortunately. Hopefully I am wrong in this case.
