A request from Dr. Andreas Laupacis, Editor-in-Chief of Healthy Debate

Dear Healthy Debate community,

Working on Healthy Debate for the last few years has been enormously rewarding for our whole team. We’ve been delighted with the response from our community, and even a little surprised by how much our readership has grown.

Healthy Debate has gone through a lot of positive change lately. We’ve completely redesigned the look and feel of the site based on feedback from our community. We’ve also recently expanded our coverage of health care issues to include Alberta, as well as Ontario. We’re very excited by this change – we think Canada’s provincial health systems have a great deal to learn from each other, and we’re looking forward to a very interesting conversation between these two provinces.

Healthy Debate received grants to set up the site and expand it to Alberta, but we have ongoing costs such as staff and website maintenance. In order to maintain the quality of the site – and hopefully continue to grow it – we’re asking you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the cause.

Any amount will help. I can assure you we will put your money to good use: continuing to bring you unbiased facts and informed opinions about our health care systems.

Thank you very much for your generosity and your continued interest in Healthy Debate.

Sincerely,

Andreas Laupacis
