Abitha Suthakaran, BMSc and MHSc, is a student in the Translational Research Program at the University of Toronto’s Temerty School of Medicine. She is passionate about improving health outcomes for minority and vulnerable populations.
Both women and trans men may require obstetrics services. But many working in health care don't know how to appropriately treat trans patients. It is time we listen to the trans community and mandate transgender care education.
