Sidrah Zafar is a Research Coordinator at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

Kyara Liu is an MPH student at the University of Toronto.

Nkem Ogbonna is a Peer Researcher at the University of Toronto Scarborough and Manager of Programs and Strategic Partnerships, ASE Community Foundation for Black Canadians with Disabilities.

The COVID-19 pandemic led to a number of people with disabilities missing health-care appointments due largely to health and safety concerns on transit. But there are measures we can take to provide accessible, disability-affirming care.
