Thank you for sharing this with me Andrea. It is so vitally important that we have conversations at our board level that bring this topic to the surface and ensure we are giving our faculty
and all staff the best support we can.

  • Graham W S Scott says:

I am most sympathetic to the need to protect our professionals and make it simpler for them to seek help or some rest or guidance in managing a high stress environment. This is yet another area wheter the OMA has not properly protected the interest of phycicians. It is long past the time the OMA and the government should put to bed so many of the slogans governing the Government -Physician relationship and examine such things as pensions and benefits for Physicians which would give them more protection and provide better balance to Patient-Physician relationships.

This is great! In these times, physician wellness, or everyone’s wellness is so crucial. Thumbs up!
